With the ongoing information on COVID-19 and the state of emergency declared in Ontario, please be advised that Oakland Scotland Community Church will be closed for all church activities for the next two weeks. This situation will be reviewed prior to April 5 once more information becomes available. Options are being reviewed at the present time for provision of an electronic message from Rev. Lennox or other clergy on Sunday. Once this has been established, information ...will be sent out to all members of our congregation. Rev. Lennox is available by phone or text at 226-920-3176 or by e-mail at [email protected] to assist with any pastoral needs you may have. These are very uncertain and troubling times. It is extremely important that we do all we can to try to stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Although we cannot be together physically for the next few weeks, please know that we are together in God’s embrace and care as we pray for the many people and families affected by this virus. If you are able, reach out to family, neighbours and friends who may be in self-isolation to see what you can do to help buy groceries, take the dog for a walk, make a reassuring phone call, etc. Please feel free to contact me if there is anything I can do for you as well.
