The province has moved the London region into the red zone of the COVID-19 framework. These changes will be in place beginning Monday December 14 at 12:01am. All ice times will continue to run as scheduled this weekend. The Oakridge Board of Directors is working to determine how hockey will adapt. We’ll post any changes to programming and schedules on our the website when we have more details.... Please continue to complete the health screening before your scheduled ice time, wear a mask, wash your hands and do not come to the arena if you have any symptoms.

Bauer & Bo Horvat Kick off Oakridge campaign to keep help kids in hockey! We have New, Free Equipment to help you keep your Child in Hockey THE NHL, NHLPA, BAUER HOCKEY and HOCKEY CANADA have launched the Hockey Equipment Relief Program and Oakridge Hockey has been selected to be a donation partner. If COVID-19 has had a financial or health impact on your family, your child is eligible to receive a free equipment to help keep your kids playing hockey.... Bo Horvat, the captain of the Vancouver Canucks came to Kinsmen Arena last week with Bauer staff, Oakridge's President Darcy Goettling, MD Director Rich Duench along with Oakridge players Liam and Julien to kick things off by delivering equipment to some local players who needed help. There is brand-new, Bauer skates, sticks, helmets and gloves available in various youth and junior sizes to fit children between the approximate ages of 4 to 12 years old. Should your family meet this criteria please contact [email protected] and we will make arrangements to get the equipment to you. Thank you Bauer Hockey, NHL, NHLPA, and HockeyCanada. The City just further clarified their spectator rule for the Orange/Restrict level for November 7, 2020; it basically stays the same as currently. 1 parent per U18 player can remain in the arena to spectate.

Oakridge Hockey has been selected to be a donation partner. If COVID-19 has had a financial or health impact on your family, your child may be eligible to receive a donation of hockey equipment through Oakridige Hockey to help keep your kids playing hockey. ... A reminder to Players and Parents. We are doing a great job in London-Middlesex as a whole and within our Minor Hockey community. Please don't take it for granted and respect the MLHU protocols currently in place within our arenas and general community. Other areas within the Alliance are not doing as well as London.... Waterloo Region (including Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge) just moved into code red today, and their minor hockey has been drastically impacted (see post). Meanwhile in Hamilton they paused all minor hockey until 2021. Please keep up the great work London.
