from Tennis Canada Pre-COVID, Dr. Barlot stayed active competing in tennis. We know he’s anxiously anticipating the courts reopening so he can get active in this way again, though competing only in a recreational way this season. What activity are you most excited to get back to?

We are pleased to confirm that as part of the staged re-launch strategy recently announced by the Alberta Government, Oakridge Chiropractic will be re-opening effective Wednesday, May 6th. Our chiropractors will be available for appointments beginning May 6th, while registered massage therapy and acupuncture services will become available at a later date, to be determined under guidance of the provincial government. In order to ensure that our return to practice is as safe an...d appropriate as possible, we have enacted several operational, hygiene, and cleaning specific practices for the purpose of infection prevention and control. Appointment booking procedures will now include symptom screening. Patients will be asked pre-screening questions over the phone with one of our administrative staff at the time of booking, as well as on the day of the appointment. Any person with symptoms or other cause for concern will be asked not to attend their appointment and will be referred to call 811 for further instruction. Patients will also be advised of the clinic’s current policy of using a mask while in the clinic environment. Clinic staff will wear surgical masks (except when behind a barrier)while patients may wear their own re-useable cloth or surgical mask. In the event that patients or visitors do not have their own mask, the clinic will provide one at a small fee to the patient. Finally, please be advised that patient hand-cleaning will be required upon clinic entry and again following completion of the appointment. We will be accepting calls to make appointments from 1pm-3pm on Monday May 4th and Tuesday from 8am-5pm. We thank you sincerely for your careful consideration, understanding, and patience, and look very forward to returning to the clinic to serve you, beginning on May 6th.
