Wow! Because of your generous support we have raised $4,910 for children at the Grace Orphanage in the Congo. All money raised will cover the cost of tuition, school supplies and uniforms. Every year Oceanside Church helps raise funds to send 35 children at the Grace Orphanage in the Congo back to school. While classes earlier in 2020 were interrupted by COVID, the children return October 12th to begin a new school year. Despite not being able to hold our regular event, we are trusting and believing that we can still make a huge difference in these children’s lives by donating online at www.iwof.ca The goal is to raise $9,890, which will cover tuition, school uniforms, school supplies, books, exam fees, and personal hygiene products. This weekend, Andy’s preach touched on the need to be reborn, and how through that, God has incredible things in store for His believers. Scripture references: John 1:1014 (NLT) He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are rebornnot with a physical birth resulting from human passion or pl...an, but a birth that comes from God. So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. John 3:23 (ESV) This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.
