In light of all the rain we’ve been getting recently here’s our #tuesdaytip on the importance of dropping your water temp like it’s hot! . .... . When brewing a fresh cup of coffee, water that is too cold will result in flat, under-brewed coffee and contrary to what some may think, water that is too hot will also cause a loss of quality in the taste of the grounds! For the perfect cup, maintain a water temp just under 205 degrees Fahrenheit which is ideal for dissolving all of those rich flavours from the grounds! . . How do you get to 205 degrees? . . . If you don’t have a thermometer or a pre-setting on your equipment, a slow boil is about 205 degrees and is reached when you see water bubbles across the entire surface. Bubbles are generally large and slow-moving. Try to avoid a rolling as that is slightly too high! . . Now go drop your water like it’s hot!!! See more

Whatever is to come this year, we appreciate everything that 2020 taught us. It showed us that we needed to slow down, we needed to be more present, we needed to show more compassion and patience, and most of all, we needed to reset. . . 2021 could look very different, but it could look very similar!
