Alright Fam so here we go, we’re going to play a little game of ’s and ’s When you come in for class you are going to set yourselves up in the stations marked with X’s and O’s. At no time should members be side by side, you will be offset from each other at all times. X’s - you will always set up at the rack... O’s - you will always be set up at the back behind the white lines ( orange dots on visual picture below ) in your stations For Example during class - While X’s are performing their set of squats, O’s will be behind the white lines in their stations doing cardio/accessory work. Once both X’s and O’s have completed their sets you will then switch off and then O’s will perform their squat set and X’s will do their cardio/accessory work. At no time will X’s and O’s be side by side, you will always be staggered 3 metres a part. ASSAULT BIKES are marked at a 3metre distance with white tape. They MUST stay in those marked spots, please do not move them. Coaches will instruct members on equipment you will need prior to class beginning, as well as when you can leave your stations during the WODS to retrieve equipment, as well as go into more detail about how the classes will be performed prior to the WODS beginning! Thank you so much! Don’t restrict our gyms any further! Our members and communities need us! Good physical fitness is your best line of defence against ALL disease. ... Our gyms provide PRO-active healthcare, preventing illness BEFORE it starts! Keeping our members anxiety and stress low, hearts and lungs healthy and most importantly keeping immune function strong! Local gyms have been fastidiously clean, following the required protocols and keeping our members safe. We are not the problem. We are part of the solution. Do not restrict us any further, let us keep making our communities fitter and stronger and let us be your allies in the fight against poor health. Tomorrow there will be a virtual town hall meeting regarding a possible adjusting of Section 22 by the Medical Officer of Health. I have spoken to the Mayor and these concerns have been expressed to the Medical officer of Health for London-Middlesex the Medical Officer of Health has acknowledged earlier today the need -- and a willingness -- to adjust the Section 22 Order issued Wednesday as it pertains to fitness facilities and youth sporting activities. To this end, the Middlesex-London Health Unit will be hosting a virtual town hall targeting stakeholders directly on Friday Oct.23 from 2:30p to 3:30p. If we get enough of the gym going/gym owning community behind this we could make a difference Please share!
