But I've been told it's time to face those fears in order to start working through them! So here we go. Its been too long, everything hurts. But luckily these movements are so engrained after 13 years, the movement patterns are still there. The body just needs some reconditioning and to work off that COVID softness V.2.0 ... . I've been nervous and self conscious to restart my training after all the side effects and stress of owning a small studio and raising a large family during a pandemic. My body is nowhere near what it was so many years ago, but I'm also over a decade older than when I started. I'm a pole dinosaur. . Four kids. Injuries. Surgeries. So I try to be grateful for what my body has done for me, but that's easier said than done sometimes. . I can't ask my students to be brave and work past their limitations if I don't do the same. .
