Potatoes!!! These Sieglinde beauties are well on their way and will be our earliest crop ever! Thanks to this amazing moderate Spring weather we will have our first harvest for Quails Gate Winery late June.

Early this morning we lost the most special little man in the world, little Mango. I hope many of you were able to meet him over the years as he was our key ambassador and greeter at the farm. I will forever hold his memories dear in my heart as he has been there with me through good times and bad times for just about 12 years. May my little angel rest in peace as his work here in my life and on the farm has come to an end. Here is a clip of some of my favorite photos. I love you Mangster

Do you love local grass fed beef? Our farming neighbors have the best tasting beef I have ever had, no joke! I just got my order for the year and I am so excited! They are raised right next door part of the season and they get to graze on wild rangeland the rest of season so these are some happy cows! A very special thank you goes out to MP Stephen Fuhr and MLA Steve Thomson for their help this season!!! For those who dont know we have a worker from Mexico named Nicolas who has been working this same farm for over 12 years now and unfortunately we had some challenges getting his application approved this season. I was just out of surgery and recovering while both my parents were away in Australia and we needed a hand in a pressing and timely matter. Our local Government r...epresentatives and their staff quickly reached out and aided to extend the deadline so we could have time to finish the application. It was make or break for the farm this year due to my injury and not being able to work and these guys stepped up to help a small local farm survive another season. Its situations like this that really stand out and it means a lot to my farm, but also to Nicolas and his farming career that he relies on to support his family.
