Coming up this weekend. Opening Reception Friday July 26, 6-9 pm Summers on Cortes are the axis on which the years turn, time taken to replenish our creative energy and revisit seemingly supernatural childhood memories. The annual return is a celebration: of reunion, growth, the island and the ocean. P O O L I N G is a collection of what lures us back and carries us forward. It is a tactile response to the material physicality of this locale, reflecting the experiences that shape the trajectory of our work. On the second Friday we will be facilitating a workshop, a community drawing collaboration in the spirit of POOLING.
