Congratulations to Grahame's Bakery on this impressive milestone. What's actually more impressive than the milestone itself is HOW they've done it. When you talk to people who have lived in the area for a while, everyone seems to have a Grahame's Bakery story. The story always starts out with a person or family in dire need and includes the unspoken generosity and kindness of Grahame's. Everything from money mysteriously appearing in an unmarked envelope or food being delive...red anonymously to a hungry family. The list of people that have been helped by this family business is a long one. The ice storm of 1999 was a big reminder of their commitment to the community as they cooked meal after meal when no one had any electricity.
