Soup Sale Today & Every Thursday!!! It's a new year and with a new year comes new offerings! Starting this Thursday, and every Thursday, our own Chef Ross we will be offering soup for sale on a first come first serve basis. On Mondays, we will be sending out our soup selections and families can then plan on what soups they would like to purchase. ... 1/2L tubs will be $5.00; 1L tubs will be $10.00. Get here early to secure your soup selections and stock up your freezer! They make a great quick and healthy meal in a pinch. A Christmas Message from Mr. Yuen To all our students & parents of OLPH School Kamloops and OLPH Childcare Centre This year has been a unique one. With so many variables unknown, in a world we diligently try to control, we find ourselves, at times, in a position where we may feel lost, afraid or alone. But the one thing we have is our spirit, and it has proven to us that we can overcome adversity. We can embrace change, adapt to our surroundings and find joy in our current... reality. I wish to thank all of you for adhering to our evolving Public Health Guidelines and ensuring the safety and security of all of our students and staff who continue to be committed to your child/ren’s well-being at OLPH School. I am truly honoured to be working with our faithful team! What a blessing we have this year to stop, literallyto embrace a more calm and slow Christmas, to spend them with our immediate family and to once again embrace the true meaning of Christmas. We are preparing for Jesus’ birth and I cannot think of a better way to celebrate this joyous occasion than in the comforts of our own homes, with our families, without the need to rush and to relax and find peace in the spirit of this Christmas season. New Hot Lunch Orders available NOW! Log into our school munchalunch site to place your awesome, fresh, home cooked meals for the remainder of this calendar year! Items include chicken pot pie, and thai coconut stirfry!... Don't forget about our Thursday Family take home dinners that are posted every Tuesday under the fundraiser tab of Munchalunch! Online Scholastic Book Fair This year our Annual Scholastic Book Fair will be held online from Sunday, Nov. 15th to Monday, Nov. 30th. Our Scholastic Book Fair site has videos of popular titles and previews of their featured books. As our fundraiser, our school will receive 20% to go towards books for our school library! Gift Card Fundraiser Our school will continue with the Gift Card fundraiser this year. The school does have various Gift Cards on hand: Superstore/Independent Foods, Safeway, Gas Cards, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Cineplex and various restaurants. It is easy to support the school without costing you any extra money and it makes it more convenient to pay for your shopping!

Dolphin Mask Fundraiser Attention parents of #OLPH, all OLPH School Alumni and parents of our OLPH Childcare Centre! $10 gives you an official OLPH Dolphin mask and 100% of the proceeds go towards the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation. ... Show your support for both our school and Dr. Henry's new mask expectation and support RIH Foundation. Appointments can be made at the main office to pick up your mask.

Christmas Baskets This year due to Covid-19 many of our fundraising efforts have been put on hold. We have decided that during the weeks of Dec. 1st until the end of the day on Dec. 17th, our Annual Silent Auction will take place via online auction. This is one of many fundraising events for our school and we thank all our parents, families and parish community for supporting this event. The theme baskets are popular auction items for this event and once again we look to you for your support. The deadline to have your child bring in their Classroom Basket item is Thursday, Nov. 26th as there is no school on Friday. Noon Dismissal / Spirit Wear Reminder - November 4th Show your #schoolspirit on Wednesday November 4th. Every noon dismissal is our dOLPHin wear day and students are able to wear OLPH clothing in place of their full uniform. We have a number of items on hand at the school if you'd like to order dOLPHin wear. Please ensure you mark your calendars and ensure you have your child/ren picked up by their staggered time (12:00pm or 12:15pm).

Purdy's Chocolate Fundraiser - November 6th The deadline for our first COVID friendly school fundraiser is Friday November 6th. Please consider purchasing some very fine chocolates from Purdy's. They make great Christmas presents...or an anytime snack!
