Just like that... November has come and gone! We had a fun lil challenge here at Olsonfab to raise money for Movember all the while holding a friendly competition to see who could grow the best moustache of the month! Our team member, Gillie, was crowned the champion winning a $50 gift card to LCBO . A big thanks to all the men who participated in Movember!

The Cotton Mill Cornwall: Bell Tower Condos are coming together so nicely! We were happy to be a part of the new waterfront condos - supplying all structural steel & misc. metals. We can't wait to see them all finished up, move-in ready!

The North Grenville District High School project is coming together nicely! The gymnasium and classroom addition’s structural steel and misc. metals have been supplied, fabricated, and erected by our team here at Olsonfab. A total of 55 tons of steel work!

Who’s excited for the new LCBO& Sleep Country Canada Olsonfab is supplying and installing all structural steel and miscellaneous steel for the commercial building going up at Walmart on Ninth Street with Buttcon Limited.

Yesterday’s luncheon with Gaetan's Chip Stand was a success over at our Saunders plant for Olsonfab and Oscar Ladouceur & Son’s team! Two great teams, we couldn’t ask for better!

Day 1 of celebrating our teams here at Olsonfab and NVC Olsonfab for all their hard work and dedication! As a token of appreciation, we had Gaetan's Chip Stand stop by for our team to enjoy a lunch on us. We truly can’t thank everyone enough for the time and effort they put in every day to help us provide such high quality products for our clients. Tomorrow, the chip truck is off to our second facility over on Saunders Drive for Oscar Ladouceur & Son and our structural division of Olsonfab.

Yesterday we sent off multiple transport loads of our pre-assemblies for a silencer system & exhaust stacks project for a power plant in Eastern Canada. Our s...cope of work included the complete fabrication of all structural components, exhaust stacks, stack supports, silencers, exhaust piping, maintenance platforms, and even the engineering! NVC Olsonfab always want to go that extra mile for our clients. We help them save money, time, and resources in many ways thanks to offering pre-assembly packages. Our pre-assemblies included: the modularization of exhaust stacks pre-packing for the support structure in-fill pieces, ladders, and misc. weldments within modules pre-assembling the secondary silencers with its corresponding items to alleviate site installation of a total of 12 items Less headaches for our clients, more time focusing on the bigger picture of getting their project to completion! School may be out for the summer but we're still hard at work! Steel work is looking great over at the site for the new highly anticipated French High School in Barrhaven, Ottawa ON. Olsonfab's scope of work includes all structural & misc. metals for the 100,000 sq. ft. building for our general contractor Bourgon Construction.

It's been a busy few weeks here putting together two generator enclosure packages for our client complete with two sub base fuel tanks and a combustion exhaust ...self supporting stack. We can't wait to see the finished products! As a ULC certified shop, NVC Olsonfab is proud to say the entire scope of work has been fabricated in-house from the sub base fuel tanks, to the self-supporting stack, to the generator enclosures - offering our client's a complete turn-key solution.

Happy Friday everyone!! It's going to be a hot one today, so enjoy it by the pool, river, BBQing, and stay hydrated! Yesterday while out on the water, we got some great shots of the Cotton Mills: Bell Tower under construction! Olsonfab is supplying the structural steel & stairs for the Bell Tower project. Residents of these condos are sure going to have a great view of the St. Lawrence River!

Last month, we shipped out over 1000 feet of piping spools for a cogeneration plant extension project. It included three lines made up of 4", 6", and 8" of carbon steel pipes for water supply, water return, and natural gas. The piping spools were fabricated to accommodate less field assemblies and welding during this pandemic.

An awesome custom fire pit made for a client of ours fabricated by our creative team member Ray! Just in time for summer weather! Our Olsonfab friend, Bougie, decided to give it a tour and gave it a 4-paw star rating!
