I am super excited to announce that I will very soon be able to take on one on one clients!!! And to celebrate this I wanted to share with you the top 3 ways to... stay healthy which apply to everyone! Are you ready for them??? They are : 1~ sleep 2~ poop ( yes I wrote that !) 3 ~ Balance your blood sugar. Now why are these so important for everyone?? Good sleep is absolutely crucial for everyone, and everyone has a different sweet spot. I need about 8 hours while others might need more or less. Sleep is a time in which our body works on detoxification, and good sleep also helps to curb craving, and helps to balance our hormones. Poop is also very necessary for the optimal condition of our gut health and it acts in the elimination process to clear toxins from our bodies. Finally balancing blood sugar....sounds complicated but it truly isn't with the right guidance. If you have successfully been able to keep your blood sugar balanced, it can help you with weight loss, allows for consistent fuelling of our bodies with means higher energy and we tend to be happier!! So I haven't shared much of this with you all, but I have been busy learning and studying for my Life & Health Coach certification! This is defiantly a big step to take on a course of this length, and to challenge myself to get outside of my own wheel house and expand my tool box in order to help others. This week, we have been asked to share something that we are proud of with our online community. For me this is a tough question with so many possibilities! I am proud of... myself for committing to giving myself more education! It isn't always easy to carve out the time, but I am finding chunks of time to make it work! And I have to say that when you are LOVING the material you are learning it does make it that much easier to set that time aside. But mostly, as we are dealing with nutrition and habit change at this point , I am so proud of my own personal transformation on the importance of food, of my mindshift of counting chemicals not calories, of finding the balance with fitness and truly focusing on things in my life that give me joy! #healthcoach #neverstoplearningandgrowing #lcontherock See more

We are super excited to be hosting a private 2 hour class for our gym family on Olympic lifting with Alex from Sudbury Weightlifting Club next Sunday September 13 at 11 am. You do not need to have any prior lifting experience to participate, as space is limited please reserve your spot ASAP. Cost is $45 for this class , pre registration and payment is required.
