Hi everyone - I just got this news from Theresa Beach and it is not good news. We need to pray as hard as we can right now for Mark and Theresa. "We got some b...ad news this afternoon. Air is filling his upper body outside of his lungs; this is a common problem with being on a ventilator. So they had to put in three chest tubes which they hope will clear the air. Also, he has a very large blood clot in one lung. He is now on a blood thinner to try to clear the clot. The prayers are amazing, and also that people haven’t given up. That is really holding me together right now. It means so much to me that others are standing in the gap for me."

Update about Pastor Mark Beach from BCC DAILY UPDATE: There are no words to describe the pain and discouragement Theresa is feeling today. TODAY THERE IS NO IMPROVEMENT. WE QUITE LITERALLY HAVE NOTHING NEW TO REPORT AND ALL WE HAVE TO SHARE WITH YOU IS OUR HEAVY DISCOURAGEMENT IN WAITING FOR GOD TO PROVIDE THE MIRACLE WE SO DESPERATELY NEED. To know how to pray, here is how you can hold Mark and Theresa up today:... Pray for Theresa as she tries her best to cling to hope, but also rests in the heaviness of prayers not yet answered. Pray desperately and consistently for God to show up and to HEAL Mark's body top to bottom. Ask God to reveal himself in very tangible and miraculous ways to both Mark and Theresa right now! From Pastor David Ralph about Pastor Mark Beach: We need to pray for a miracle for my friend and co-worker Mark Beach. He was moved to the ICU just before midnight because his oxygen levels were too low. A couple of hours ago his wife Theresa (who is struggling with COVID herself) messaged me to let me know (and to let all you know) that Mark has to be put on a ventilator because he was struggling to breathe on his own. They are both hopeful of a positive outcome but are also realistic about what is happening. Please join me and others around the world in praying diligently for Mark today.

Update this morning from Theresa Beach regarding her battle with COVID and Mark's current condition. New things to pray for. Please keep praying. Mark had ano...ther okay night, according to the nurse. He is still eating, and his O2 levels seem to be staying above 90 or 91 most of the time. What is really needed now is some sign of strengthening or improvement. The nurse told me this morning that the next step and goal would be to start weaning off of the oxygen treatment. And so we pray and ask for more healing, more strength, for the drugs to do their intended work and for his lungs to do more work on their own. Please also pray for peace, victory over fear and discouragement because these seem to come hand in hand with this nasty virus. I am also feeling quite terrible, and could use prayers for healing. This last line is from Theresa - not me!!! She also has COVID.

Good Morning Friends. We are going to delay our monthly "Lunch" together on Zoom for a week. So we will see you next Wednesday for that. But we will continue with our prayer time at noon.
