From the very beginning, our vision has been to become Canada’s most trusted online continuing education and professional development resource for registered massage therapists. In the last year we've partnered with 10 instructors and published 8 courses. We've also received course approvals from almost every major association across Canada, and are looking to expand into Quebec and the United States. We have more courses in the works, and several new instructors who will be joining our team in 2021, so stay tuned! https://www.onlinewellness.ca

Marketing during a pandemic I dont know about you, but Ive been struggling to know how to market my massage business during these hard times. I kind of feel like this meme. After much debate, the conclusion I came to was GRATITUDE. I need to thank my clients for choosing me as their RMT. I need to show my appreciation for their support. ... I ordered thank you cards (Costco is an affordable option) and Davids Tea and sent them to my existing clients. Everyone loves mail! Especially mail with goodies! Ive received lots of thank you messages and re-bookings in response. I think its a great idea to connect with your clients. Ive included some other ideas for gifts that are easy to mail. Check out our blog for links and more info like how to get discount postage on cool vintage stamps! (www.onlinewellness.ca)

Were excited to welcome Laurie Di Giulio to the Online Wellness team! Laurie completed examinations with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 2000, and worked as an RMT in the province until 2014. During that time, she owned and managed a multidisciplinary wellness clinic, and acted as both faculty and administration at massage therapy colleges. She was a program coordinator for two Toronto campuses; and has experience in curriculum development and instruction, sp...ecifically in anatomy, physiology and pathology. Laurie and her spouse moved to Nova Scotia in 2014. While in Halifax, she brought her unique style of neurological-based practice to the east coast; she taught at two massage therapy colleges, coordinated and led study groups for healthcare professionals, presented at several conferences, and developed and delivered her own continuing education courses. Laurie believes that being a lifelong learner is key to being an effective therapist. She has additional training in NeuroKinetic Therapy, yoga teacher training, StrongFirst KettleBell User, Primal Movement Patterns, Cupping, RockTape, Active Isolated Stretching and personal training. In her spare time, Laurie can be found at the gym, near a beautiful body of water, or at the airport, as she travels frequently to visit family and to work. #massage #massagetherapy #massagetherapycanada #massageeducation #continuingeducation #professionaldevelopment #onlineeducation

Were excited to welcome Christy Collingham to the Online Wellness team! Christy is a seasoned facilitator and speaker. Christy uses a process that takes on adaptive change by focusing on the problem longer than the solution. This approach lets individuals remove mental barriers to change and ends up allowing change to show up, be real, and stick around. She jokingly refers to herself as the un-motivational speaker as the work she does is with the ucky-mucky side of goal sett...ing - the "WHY NOT". Christy's approach is based on a program called Immunity to Change. ITC was developed at Harvard using over 20 years of research in adult development. It was recommended by Oprah's Top 10 things to do and is used in corporations around the world to support their firm's culture. Her experience over 7 years of group and individual coaching led Christy to train as a master facilitator with Dan Dorr and Associates before discovering ITC. Christy has extensive coaching training though she finds the results so good with ITC that its her 'go to move'. ITC can support with a variety of goals. Some examples are leadership, communication, health and wellness, time management, networking, confidence and marketing. #massage #massagetherapy #massagetherapycanada #massageeducation #continuingeducation #professionaldevelopment #onlineeducation
