#COVID19 Update: The Government of Ontario will be temporarily suspending time-of-use #electricity rates starting today. Ontarians will be charged the off-peak rate (10.1 c/kWh). The Ontario Energy Association #OEA) supports and commends this new policy, as it was undertaken in a manner to avoid significant administrative and implementation challenges on Local Distribution Companies (LDCs) at a time when they are currently focusing their efforts on ensuring Ontarians have acc...ess to essential electricity services.
