Between placing the 911 call and first responders arriving at your location, help may be too far away if you fall through the ice into frigid water. This Holiday Season, think twice before venturing out onto the ice.
"And all other duties as assigned" Sometimes a deployment to Pikangikum can become so much more than just patrols. Two of our deployed members found this out when they were asked by the First Nations Community of Pikangikum to referee their men’s league hockey last night! A lot of fun and some exercise was had by the community and PC Craig Nelson (Fort Frances Detachment) and PC Valerie Watson (Perth Detachment)! Great Job! Thanks to A/S/Sgt Jennifer Neamtz for the submission.
