Hardwood floors are wonderful, but be aware they come with huge responsibility/cost. Often we will lay area carpets over the hardwood but after time you move the carpet and your hardwoods are now discoloured....due to many reasons, chemicals in the carpet or underlay can react with the floors as well as no air flow suffocating the wood.....Move your carpets as often as possible or better yet not have them or chose a different flooring like laminate.

Just a reminder that Orchid Cleaning Services LTD. will be closed tomorrow November 11th so that we may honour those who have served, continue to serve and those who have sacrificed!

Due to the weather my Orchid girls are taking a snow day! See you all tomorrow!!

With all the negativity out there it is really hard to stay positive....but when people touch your life with their kindness it raises you up. I want to thank Marion McRoberts who has given us free rent on the shop we rent from her, I want to thank all our wonderful clients who have shown us nothing but support in these last few days and I want to Thank my staff for holding each other up and being there for me.....Thank you Ashley Reardon for the tea you dropped on my doorstep! Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous and considerate!
