Our 2021 Outdoor Registration is now officially OPEN. DON'T DELAY... Register today to hold your spot! Please Note: We are asking for NO PAYMENT at this time. Due to the current state of the pandemic, the club anticipates things may change. In light of this, the club is prepared to make adjustments when necessary. Please register early to allow us to plan ahead for the season accordingly. A lot more planning goes into the ever changing environment we live in currently, so we appreciate you registering early and being patient with us. By registering, this will also allow you to receive email updates from us along the way as we approach the season start. We have also opened our Summer Camp Registration for the week of July 19-23, 2021. The Orillia District Soccer Club (ODSC) would like to thank everyone in our soccer family and in the City of Orillia for supporting our club over the years. As... we head into another spring/summer soccer season, our club is hopeful that we may be able to offer some soccer programming to the children and youth of Orillia area this year. With the health and safety of our players, staff and their families as our top priority, our club is looking to HIRE STAFF and VOLUNTEERS to support us in our mission. Both paid and volunteer positions will be available. Anyone interested in working with us is encouraged to reach out to us at [email protected] to express their interest. Please note, these positions will be primarily Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. Positions are suitable for parents, high school students, college/university students and soccer enthusiasts with a variety of skills, experiences and availability. Any and all soccer activity conducted by the ODSC will follow COVID-19 protocol based on the most up to date announcements and direction from the government, Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, the City of Orillia and Ontario Soccer. Orillia & District Soccer Club- ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING NOTICE- 2020 Our Annual General Meeting will look a bit different this year. It will take place virtually over Zoom on Tuesday January 12th 6:30-7:30pm Due to not having a season in 2020, we are inviting all our members from 2019 to take part in this AGM. We ask that you email [email protected] to sign up to attend the AGM ahead of time by Friday Jan 8th. Then we will send out a zoom invite link to you closer to ...the meeting date. The zoom link will also be posted on our website & social media links. Orillia Soccer is always looking for new volunteers to help and come onto our Board of Directors. We have the below positions up for election this year (2 year commitment): President Treasurer Director of House League Youth Director of Game Officials Director of Coaching Director of Media Relations *If you are interested in helping out in these roles and would like more information please email [email protected]. If you wish to nominate or be nominated please email [email protected] by Monday Jan 4th. *If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to appoint a proxy for your vote who will be attending, a proxy form can be found on our website. This will contain the current list of candidates that have expressed interest in running for the election. Proxy forms are held by someone you appoint who will be attending the meeting. They will vote on your behalf. Only one proxy form per member who attends. The person you appoint should be in possession of the form during the AGM.
