Time to unpack the gear! With the return to competition this month we are pleased to announce that we will pick up the 2021 Archery Nova Scotia shoot schedule with an indoor 18m competition on January 23rd. Stay tuned for info on registration and COVID-19 precautions. Later on in February we are also slated to host our local MICA event (https://archerycanada.ca/multi-sites-indoor-championship-o/). In March we will be hosting the Regional Indoor (18 metre) target Championship...s. And, of course, the club is currently open 24/7 to our members, indoor, outdoor, and field target ranges. Please be safe and observe distancing measures!

Osprey is now accepting membership renewals and new memberships for 2021. If you'd like to renew, or are interested in joining the club, email [email protected] for information and/or our membership registration form.

This may be a solution that would allow us to increase the number of archers on the line from 3 to 6. Let us know your thoughts.

With the resumption of the 2020 Archery Schedule, we are considering hosting a few 720’s over the next few weeks. We would like to have an indication of the level of interest. Tentatively the dates could be Thursday evenings, Aug 20 and 27 starting at 6pm. Also Saturday, Aug 29 in the morning. This is not the official pre-registration, but just an indication of interest. Please comment if you think you would be interested in these events, and let us know which ones. Thanks

The field archery course is now open, thanks to our trail-clearing volunteer crew! Ramble along a network of forest paths and enjoy the challenge of shooting targets placed at a wide variety of distances and inclines. Lots of space here for social distancing and staying safe while getting your fresh air and exercise. We are still offering a special discounted membership rate for anyone who wishes to join in June, and our usual half-year memberships begin July 1.

Good news, everyone! Our outdoor target field reopens for members' use tomorrow, May 18. Club members have been emailed details about the new safety rules, such as limiting the number of people on the field at any time to no more than 5 and using the social distance markers on the green rope shooting line. The clubhouse remains closed and coaching and events will not be on offer for the time being. Please email or message us if you have any questions. If you are interested in joining the club, we are offering a special one-time rate for people who wish to join now rather than waiting until our usual half-year rates begin in July.
