Local and regional partners are coming together to plan this dynamic conference, where food and farming actors share experience and expertise, build capacity for collaboration and reconciliation within Ontario’s local food networks, and coordinate actions that will lead to sustainable transfo...rmations of food systems in Ontario and beyond. Join 400+ people from Ontario’s food system, who are moving us toward a brighter and more sustainable food future. Tasters, buyers, producers, planners, organizations, and dreamers will gather and collaborate across Ontario to share successes, gain skills, and work together to create an even better food system. Participants can indulge in four days of inspiring speakers, local tours, engaging panels, hands on workshops, action planning sessions, in addition to networking opportunities, our Halloween Social and our Feast of Local Flavors.

FLEA MARKET: 10am-4pm FOOD TRUCKS: 11am-5pm Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation is hosting the second round of the Street Food Social & Flea Market on August 6th! ... Everyone is welcome - Bring family, friends, pets, and a blanket to pic-nic in the park! This event is to bring together families and friends for a day of street food sampling. There will be food trucks offering gourmet foods and desserts and 10% of sales will go towards supporting local cancer care through the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. Since the food trucks will be in our parking lot, we recommend parking in the surrounding neighbourhoods or taking the bus (we are right next to Hurdman station).
