Feedback on our online fitness membership: "I just wanted to say that the first week of the new session of OOF (Ottawa Online Fitness) was great. I really enjoyed both classes I attended. After both the strength and yoga classes I felt a little taller, stronger and more purposeful in my movements. Look forward to spinning next Saturday!" Only 10 spots left. Way to go, Tom!

As soon as the shutdown started we commenced free online strength, mobility and spin classes for our community. A quick review of the attendance shows that we hosted over 700 workouts up to the end of August! They were so popular that in just over a week we officially launch Ottawa Online Fitness. Already 32 of the 50 spots have been filled. Check it out! http://www.ottawaonlinefitness.ca

This summarizes my WHY. I believe movement is inextricably tied to life. Movement (in particular moving well) can be the EXPERIENCE in itself. For me this is t...he love of pure movement. To run for the sake of running. To hike for the sake of hiking. To move for the sake of moving. Movement can also lead to amazing experiences. A means to an end. It can take you places. Whether its the views from the top of a challenging mountain hike, the sense of accomplishment of finishing a race, or simply the smile in a kids face when you pick them up. Movement is living. Telling people to prioritize movement is kinda silly to me. It’s like telling people to prioritize living. It should be a NO BRAINER. As we continue to outsource movement for the sake of convenience (and dollars) we need to reexamine its costs. Our DNA is programmed to conserve energy, yet the luxuries of modern society come with a hefty price to our bodies and minds. #MoveBetterExperienceMore #chiro #physio #ottawachiro #movementismedicine #holistichealth
