CHESTER MASS REGISTRATION - CHANGE! Starting this week, registrations for the 9:00 Sunday Mass willl be made by calling the Chester office on Tuesday mornings (or leave a message Monday nights) at 902-275-5463. Thank you to Karen, Debbie and Jennifer for making this possible!

Cards for Fr. Roberto If anyone would like to send a card or note to Father Roberto, we will be collecting them until September 28th and then mailing them as a parcel to Father along with a prayer shawl that is being sent on behalf of the Parish. You can drop your card in the collection, in the mail (to 18 Scholars Rd, Upper Tantallon, NS., B3Z 0N2) or at the office (Mon-Thurs, 9 to 3 pm).

Last Saturday, August 29th, St. Augustine’s Church celebrated the feast of St. Augustine with a wonderful outdoor Mass in Lordly Park, Chester. The day was filled with sunshine and love with everyone excited to finally be able to celebrate the Eucharist together. The celebrant was Father Paul MacIntosh, Stephanie Beaumont led us in song and it was attended by approximately 80 parishioners from St. Augustine’s, St. Patrick’s and St. Anthony’s. A huge Thank you to all who worked so diligently to help make this event happen.

Update on Father Roberto Staff and Fr. Paul have heard that Fr. Roberto is undergoing further treatment and will be remaining in Italy for the time being. If you wish to send a card, please drop it off at the office and we will forward it to Fr. Roberto.

New Holy Apostles Website Launched We are very excited to announce that the new Holy Apostles (one parish, five churches) website has been launched this week. We hope you take a look when you have a minute at www.holyapostlesparish.com . One of the exciting new features of the website is that there is a button on our home page to connect directly to the livestream Mass. Parishioner Glen MacIsaac has done a beautiful job including pictures he and Fr. Paul have taken of our five churches.

Mass with a congregation will continue on Sundays at 11 am in St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church. This Mass is open for all parishioners . You must pre-register each week to attend. We will open the other churches and add Masses as teams are organized, protocols are met and Father Paul is able to schedule.

We have received very good news about Fr. Roberto. He had his surgery yesterday and the doctor says it went very well. His recovery so far is also going very well. Please keep him in your prayers and we will keep you informed as we find out more information that we can share. Holy Apostles St
