Hi Everyone! I know its been a little while and I apologize for not getting going on this project. However there have been a few obstacles over the past short while that have taken more of my time than expected, not the least of which was the passing of my beloved almost 16 year old Golden Retriever, Samson. As many of you know he was a very substantial part of my and my families life so this has been a hard time for us here at home. Secondly is our unexpected move which was ...not forseen to be as early as we had thought and/or had hoped. That's right, our first Men's BBQ and our last to be held at the Falcon residence, was held at the same time! Needless to say, our plate has been full around our household. Now for the better news. We have had a pretty good reaction to a baseball outing at the Canadians however the dates seemed to be not so conducive to all so I am proposing that we just set a date for a game and we see how many guys want to go. Then we'll buy all the tickets at once (We get a discount for twenty or more) and we just go out and enjoy a game and an enjoyable outing. I am thinking that a Nooner (Game played on a Friday afternoon) could be a lot of fun so we could shoot for August 15th or August 22. OR maybe a Sunday late afternoon game which starts at 5:05 on August 10th. Anyhow, let me know what you think. Our inaugural event was a BBQ held on May 31st, 2014 and was a great success! Then again, its hard not to have success when God blesses us with a great group of men, excellent weather and food! As we continue on this new path, its is our hope that many more men will come along to enjoy the camaraderie that only God can create.
