Hello my name is Kat, I thought it would be appropriate for me to introduce myself to the members of this group. I’m the soul behind the local WAYfinder Trails ...& Recreation hiking app some of you may have used before but if not well it’s FREE to download in the app stores if you’d like to check it out. I started this passion project over three years ago with my main goal being to map as many hiking trails as possible so I could share my experiences and knowledge with other members of my community who love exploring the beauty of the North. I am, by no means, an expert hiker... in fact it’s overwhelming as to how many locations I have yet to explore. None the less, I am still committed to my original goal and now more than ever I am working hard to expand. So I’m grateful to be a part of this knowledgeable group! I should have introduced myself earlier but in all honesty, I’m still trying to get comfortable with social media. Hahah so to challenge myself I not only decided to say hi I figured I go all out and share this video montage of me in my natural habitat adventuring this winter.

After much discussion, the 2020 Nipigon Blueberry Blast is to run August 15th and 16th at the Nipigon Marina. There will not be a blueberry bus; however, there ...will be lead vehicles and maps available for picking locations. The Stage will be set up in Peace Pole Park just over the bridge at the marina. Music will begin at 1 pm on Saturday and run until 5 pm followed by the "Attended" draw. Sunday will see music start at noon and run until 5 pm, again followed by the "Attended" draw. The location allows for strict control of those coming and going as per social distancing rules and a limit of 100 people at any given time will bee allowed into the area. A sign-in table will be located just over the Clearwater Creek car bridge where attendees will need to sign in and will be given a ticket at the attendance booth. Upon leaving the ticket will be dropped off at the attendance booth to add you to the attended draw (like an attendance draw but you don't have to be in attendance.) There will be minimal vendors, each of which will adhere to TBHU guidelines. Mask wearing is encouraged where social distancing is not possible. All events are subject to change without notice. There is no backup venue. Please follow the Blueberry Blast Facebook page for updated information. https://www.facebook.com/NipigonBlueberryBlastFestival/ Other activities will be announced or available at the blast. If you would like to become a vendor, please contact Carol Ann at: 887-2523 Live Music at the Marina. Limited vendors. Smoky Booth. "Attended" Draws.
