Overcomer Truckers Chapel 17.06.2021

Good morning everyone! I have spent the last few months praying for guidance on the direction of my ministry. Covid-19 kinda put a halt on moving forward with my mobile chapel ministry. Before Covid-19 hit us, God was telling me to wait and I didn't understand why I was waiting. He had confirmed the ministry but yet I was told to wait. Low and behold now I know why. Our God is good and He knows all that will happen in our lives before we do. Over the last couple days I have... been praying about when I should start? Will the Covid-19 ever back off enough for me too begin moving forward? I had a clear thought and i believe He told me that the curfews were being lifted. My biggest concern was, whats the point? I can't have anyone in the chapel and the reminder He gave me yesterday that we can meet in bigger groups and that most of my ministry will be one on one, maybe 2-3 in the chapel. So I am going to once again begin to move forward. I my prayers this morning I have told Him I want Him to supply everything from the motorhome to the operating costs. I know this is His ministry and Mike Sears is nothing more than a seed sower. I would like to ask all my family, friends, Twitter followers and Facebook friends. If any of you know of anyone who would have a motorhome they would prayerfully consider donating to my ministry. I believe through the Great Commission foundation GCF they could get a tax receipt for their generous gift. The biggest expense Overcomer Truckers Chapel will have to begin ministering to Truckers is the motorhome. (The pic with the post is similar to what I would like to have) This is Gods ministry and I know He well supply. I thank you for taking the time to read my post, but most of all I thank you for your prayer and support. God bless, Chaplain Mike.

I figured I would start posting some pics I find of other drivers trucks who are sharing their faith. This is one reason why I started Overcomer Truckers Chapel. The Gospel needs to be shared with as many truck drivers as I can. Even though Covid-19 has put a temporary halt to the motorhome chapels that will not stop me from sharing my faith. I have recently joined with the Moose Jaw chapter of the Gideons and it will be great fun distributing NT Bibles. I also found another organization where I can get Bible tracts. I got one that is related to truckers called "The Sissy" with 100 Bibles and 250 tracts this will make good evangelism. Please pray for my ministry. Chaplain Mike.

Hello from Chaplain Mike! I'm in Dodge City AL at the Petro truck stop. I'm on a short lay over, Covid-19 has really slowed things down. I want to encourage you to stay strong in these uncertain times. Please be assured that God is in charge and He already knows what is going to happen in the future. He knew us before we were born, stay strong and see the Good God will bring out of this Covid-19 pandemic. I was up early this morning and took a prayer walk around the parking ...lot. Our God is so good, He is giving me opportunities to pray and minister to the drivers. I had a couple conversations with drivers and others and they love the thought of a motorhome as a chapel. They like the idea that it will be open for more than one day per week... They agree that one service on Sunday and maybe a Bible study on Wednesday is not enough. The drivers all have different break times and schedules and it would be good for the Chapel to serve them and lead them to Jesus. I am thankful to God for this lay over it is giving me the opportunity to see how the ministry will unfold. Praise to God for His love and guidance. Please pray for a motorhome for the ministry and for the funding to decal and operate the unit. Also pray God will continue to prepare me for ministry. Thank you for praying for me and the Overcomer Truckers Chapel ministry. God bless you. P.S please feel free to share my posts and ministry with everyone you know. Chaplain, Mike

Hello again from Chaplain Mike, I know my posts are few and far between. I pray you will have patience with me. As many of you know Overcomer Truckers Chapel is still in the building stages. I am currently waiting on God for guidance on the next steps in the ministry. I am presently starting with a new trucking company for work. Well if I can get rid of this flu bug and squeeze past the Corona virus without catching it, I will be blessed. I have been living in a small motel r...oom for the past week fighting off this flu. I am hoping to get back to work this week. I have started with a company called Watt and Stewart, and I will say they have been a blessing and I am trilled to be with them. During my time here I will use my professional skills as a truck driver to do a good job for them. I will also welcome any ministry opportunities that God sends my way while I am on the road. I would like to encourage each of you to keep strong in the Lord Jesus. Cling to the cross during the challenging times. God has always been with us and He will never leave us. I pray for you always, besafe drivers, I pray for you always, be safe drivers,

Hello everyone, Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I am waiting on God at the present moment. One of the most difficult time in our Christian faith, is waiting on God. I know He has confirmed the ministry. I am just waiting for Him to supply my needs. I would like to ask each person who visits my facebook and Twitter pages to pray that God will reveal what He wants done and my needs for the ministry. In the mean time, I will contimue to be patient and wait on the Lord. I want to encourage everyone of you to be strong and patient while waiting on the Lord. He knows what is best for you, He is the author of our lives. Thank you for all your prayers and support. Chaplain Mike.
