This young guy was found out near Pittock conservation area. Super friendly, not neutered. Do you know him? If no owner is found, he will be safe with us.

These two bunnies were left outside of our rescue office. We don't have the resources for buns. Can anyone help rehome them? Update : They are safe tonight with our vet, we are looking for a home, not temporary housing.

Update on the little nugget found at the brush depot! We noticed last night that Teddy (little bear) was touchy on his back leg, wouldn't move when set down or bear weight. Brought him into our fantastic team of vets and learned that it's broken. Luckily the bones are aligned and have been splinted and casted. Hopefully he will grow and heal on his own in the next 2-4 weeks. We are so thankful for the good Samaritan who found him and brought him to safety with us!

This wee one was just found at the brush depot, soaking wet, cold and dirty. Does anyone have kitten formula on hand they could share with us? (We will be setting traps again tomorrow when the employees are there.) ***Thankyou to Will Seys and Danielle Degraaf for their most generous donation of formula. This little man is so lucky we have great supporters who help!!

Meghan turned 11 and asked for gifts for the animals instead of herself! We are always amazed at the generosity and support young people provide to our animals. There will be many full bellies and tons of play thanks to Meghan! Happy Birthday!

We are starting to get our Christmas Online Auction items together and need your help. It has been a difficult year with the pandemic shutdowns and a number of our regular sourced contacts for items are not available this year. Do you have an item that would be a great auction on it's own or something we could use to add to, or build a basket around? New gifts, outdated seasonal stock or items with damaged packaging or no box, promotional items, a 'floor model', a previous... gift you'd like to rehome, a service you provide or a gift card you won't use. We are very creative and can make almost anything work! Please feel free to send us a message to arrange a drop off or pick up of an item or 2 and support the animals in our care! (Photos are from last year's auction for reference) See more

You might not recognize these two little peas in a pod from 5 weeks ago. They came into care at just over a day old and have grown into healthy kittens thanks to foster mom Katie and the kids! Meet Gidget and Cosmo almost ready for adoption!

Hoping someone took him in to keep him safe. It's time to get him home to his humans!

This precious little kitty found their way into a volunteer's yard earlier tonight. Kitty was stumbling, falling over, with a big belly and in obvious distress. Upon closer inspection, kitty had a runny nose and eyes, and a wet backend. We posted in the neighbourhood Facebook group looking for an owner. Kitty's condition was worsening and the decision was made to take kitty to the emergency vet in London. Upon arrival, the vet determined there was something extremely serious going on. Without sharing graphic details, we decided the most humane thing to do was euthenize this sweet baby and stop the suffering. PLEASE hug your furbabies close and keep them near, the outdoors is unforgiving!

Who needs children's masks for back to school?? These adorable little masks are just in! Some tiny ones, and average kid sizes too. Very limited supply of adult right now, but more are on their way. $5.00 each with all the proceeds to the animals in the care of Oxford County Animal Rescue!

This tiny fellow was found deep inside a storage bin at a local factory. We estimate he's about 3 weeks old. Super cute little face. Sound, asleep with a full belly! EDIT: He was definitely alone. There are many cats at this location and the company won't allow us to trap. A compassionate employee brought him to safety. We definitely would LOVE to get all the other cats! As always, unkind comments will be hidden.

It was a busy day at the vet clinic with sick nuggets today. The little Yorkie isn't feeling well and has an ear infection too! These babies showed up at a barn with momma late last week. All three with Upper Respiratory Infections. A little worried about the littlest Tortie, but they're all in great hands, and now have a fighting chance!
