Important new changes at Brentwood! Starting Wednesday, Oct 28th, Masks are now mandatory in the studio, with the only exception being when you are on your mat during class. This includes in the lineup outside, when entering and exiting the studio, as well as in our back hall, washroom, and change rooms. . Which is the other new change! We are working hard behind the scenes to temporarily suspend all auto-pay memberships effective today, November 8th. We are sad to announce that our studio doors will be closed for two weeks, effective today, November 8th 2020, as per the recent announcement around indoor gatherings facilities from our public health official, Dr. Bonnie Henry. Since our initial re-open, we have done everything possible to create and keep a safe environment for our members, staff and instructors by following our Covid Safety Plan that was approved by Fraser & Coastal Health. We continued to take and reinfor...ce additional measures that we felt were needed for the fitness industry. Our pre-existing safety plan plus any further recommendations made by Fraser & Coastal Health will be reinstated at our studio upon its re-opening date. We encourage you to take this time for yourself and your loved ones. Keep moving, stay active and sweat it out safely at home. In the meantime, we’d love to stay connected and invite you to join our Oxygen Everywhere community, or take advantage of our virtual platform giving you the flexibility to workout anytime from anywhere. Often underrated, good quality rest can do more for us than continued exertion. Sometimes it’s hard to imagine that 1 hour of extra sleep would be better than squeezing out another hour of work. In short-term productivity sprints, that extra hour of work isn’t the worst thing, but long-term that balance is crucial to our overall health. In these days of change, it’s important to know what that quality rest looks like, & reward ourselves for it to the same degree as we do when... marking something off our checklist. . For many Oxygen Brentwood members, our Deep Stretch & Relaxation class provides active rest in the form of full belly-breathing & flowing between various deep stretches on the floor.
