Fun was had by all at the annual Vancouver Bar Association Alpine Championship. The attendees even attempted an ice cave expedition.

Our partners Bruce Green, Hilton Sue and Todd Rattray attended the 2018 General Assembly and Council Meetings of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association in New Delhi, India last week. In addition to meeting and networking with fellow patent attorneys from around the world, Bruce Green also performed in the 20th anniversary performance of the APAA Band of which Bruce was a founding member, Hilton Sue competed in a friendly round of camel polo with other patent attorneys from various countries, and Todd Rattray no doubt attended important meetings.

Our partner, Hilton Sue, while attending the 2018 annual meeting of the Licensing Executives Society (USA/Canada) in Boston was surprised to become part of the entertainment at the Tuesday evening reception, which featured a game show similar to ‘Family Feud’ where teams from different industry sectors competed against one another. But despite being drafted onto a cross-sector team with knowledge/members ranging from ExxonMobil to Stanford, Hilton’s team couldn’t match the combined brilliance of the life sciences sector team that ultimately won.
