Weekly GRAD spotlight! . PSW had 6 swimmers and coaches who graduated this year and each week we will spotlight one of them! . This week is Cindy Shu... . Years with PSW: 9 Cindy has been swimming with PSW since she was in grade 4, which makes this upcoming season her 10th! . After graduating this year from Southridge Cindy plans to attend McMaster University where she will continue to swim on the varsity team along with other PSW alumni . Cindy's favorite memories are the happy moments from this past year where she got to be a part of a supportive team where there is often laughter on the pool deck. . Cindy will never forget the lessons that she has learned from her time swimming with PSW. She grew up here and it is also the place where she had to go through some tough times in her life and she will never forget the support that the coaches and her friends have given her. . You will still see Cindy around the pool as she is continuing to swim for us during COVID-19 phases of reopening! . CONGRATULATIONS CINDY! See more

Weekly GRAD spotlight! . PSW had 6 swimmers and coaches who graduated this year and each week we will spotlight one of them! . This week is Laiken Greffard... . Years with PSW: 11 Laiken started swimming with the club when she was 6 years old and transitioned to coaching when she was 16! . After graduating this year from WRCA Laiken will study Kinesiology at Douglas College starting this September . Laiken’s favourite memory from PSW was after every meet warm up everyone would grab snacks and sit around Forrest’s iPad and play games as a group while they waited for the meet to begin! . Her favourite thing about her time with PSW was the amazing friendships she made...they would see each other so much so they had their own little swim family!! With Gabby, Emma, Maddey, Mirah, Steph, Quinn, Forrest and Sam! All of the early morning practices (sounds crazy) were her favourite because she got to see everyone! She also loved swimming with the seniors because they were such great role models and she looked up to them so much. . You will still see Laiken around the pool as she is continuing to coach for us! . CONGRATULATIONS LAIKEN! See more

After graduating this year from Earl Marriott Sam will be attending Western University in the fall on a full ride scholarship and will be studying environmental ethics and sustainable business at the Ivey school of business! . Sam’s favourite memories are the chaotic dryland soccer games and laughing with friends at swim meets. As a coach his favourite memories are the countless mini meets and introducing swimmers to the racing environment in a positive way. . Sam will never forget the friendships, great coaches and incredible swimmers he had the chance to coach over the years as well as the many important lessons he learned to lead a healthy life! He’s so thankful for his time with PSW and the countless skills he gained through being a Sea Wolf . We want to wish Sam all the best in all his future endeavours and thank him for all the time and energy he gave back to the club! . CONGRATULATIONS SAM! See more
