We would like to express our sadness at the loss of the older part of our New West park area. This riverfront park provided enjoyment and peace for thousands of residents and visitors to New Westminster. Thankfully, the areas in and around Rivermarket, including the Discovery Centre, the historic sternwheeler MV Sampson, and the Paddlewheeler Riverboat Tours sternwheeler MV Native, were not affected. We will be continuing our Fraser River cruises as scheduled, starting with our Pitt Lake Nature cruise on Thursdays and Saturdays, Pub Night Cruises on Fridays & Saturdays, Ladner Wetland Cruises on Sundays, and special Historic Fort Langley Cruises on Sept 20th and October 10th.
