Prince Albert Golf & Curling Centre 26.11.2020

Attention Curlers: During these quickly changing times, the safety of our curlers and general community is of the utmost importance to the PAGCC. Although we would like nothing more than to continue with our curling season, the health and well-being of those around us takes presedence. After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to spend all league play from March 16th to the end of the season.... Naturally, this is not the way we saw the season ending, however we believe it is our responsibility to do what is best for our curlers and the general public. At this time, we would like to thank you for your support of the PAGCC and wish you a safe and healthy summer. See you in October.

To our valued members, Given the current situation of COVID-19, the Prince Albert Golf & Curling Club wants to take a proactive approach and respond to all risks responsibly. There is a fine balance to maintain between continuing to provide service for our members and prioritizing the health and safety of our patrons. The board and representatives of the user groups have met and decided to remain open for curling leagues and in The Rock and Iron. We will continue to assess t...he status of COVID-19 and adjust operations as necessary. That being said, we have established new precautions and protocols in order to be vigilant about the cleanliness of the building. This includes planning to sanitize high traffic areas multiple times per day (including door handles, hand rails, etc.), removing communal items from tables in the restaurant and sanitizing regularly, some changes to the provision of food and beverage services, as well as strict staff protocols around frequent hand washing, staying home when sick, etc. PAGCC is committed to our members; in this case, to the health and safety of our members. We recommend that members consider the following precautions as well when using our facility: Stay home and rest if you are feeling unwell Wash hands frequently, especially before and after eating or curling Refrain from touching your face (or licking your fingers while eating our delicious food) Eliminate handshakes from curling games If you feel inclined to wipe or clean your rocks before playing, please feel free to do so Observe personal space while you enjoy our building Drink enough water, eat healthy, get enough sleep, minimize stress and stay healthy overall Thank you for your ongoing support. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
