I had 10 jobs yesterday, TEN. 3 different places, 3 different groups of people, 3 outfits, it was craziness! And I loved every moment. A stunning before and after from a wedding I did a few weeks ago. Angel and her family were new Canada and this wedding was truly a celebration of love. Her family surrounded her and I got to hear part of their story. There were so many people involved in making this day a memorable day for the bride and groom. I felt so honoured to play a small role.

Hair is NOT my strong point. At all. But today I attempted a new technique with a tool a friend showed me and it looked half decent. Once my pretty pinks were oh my face I just felt all there. It's lovely to have those days. Even the hubs noticed that it just looked nice. I'll take it. Drug store mascara. Are there actually any good ones out there? Ones that stay? Ones that don't clump? Do you have one that works and that you love? I have tried many, and I do have ones that I go back to, but also many that did not work for me. My favourite in this picture is the Loreal Voluminous one. It doesn't clump, and it's got great build-able volume. I also find that it stays on pretty good. The water proof version lasts all day, but is hard to remove. The other one I like is the Almay one, it separates the lashes very smoothly and defines them. How often do you replace your mascara? If you have never tried a serum for your face, there is no better time than the present. A serum (there are hundreds to choose from) enhances all the products that you use on your face, and is far more concentrated than a moisturizer or cream. You can buy ones for anything from hydration to wrinkles, or acne or dark spots. This is one of my personal favourites and is the key to any good skin days that I have. I still have problems and spots, but this serum provides a brightness and softness that I love and so enjoy. So. This happened today. My husband surprised me last month, with an application to a make up school I have been looking and watching for years. I've talked and dreamed about it forever. And today was my first day!! I cannot even begin to explain how excited I am to learn about period make up, and new techniques. I am thrilled to get excited about make up again, in a new and creative way. Looking for cheap drug store face products? Allow me to enlighten you. I use these 5 products all the time. I purchased each item in the mass isle at shoppers. - The finishing spray is by Loreal cosmetics. I use it for multiple things, but mostly to set my make up, or wet a blending sponge. - Foundation: Also by Loreal. It's called Infallible Pro Matte. If you find the right Color (they should have testers of this one) it gives a fabulous finish. Moderate coverage and ea...sy to blend. It's very long lasting as well! - The brush beside the foundation is a tool I use EVERY SINGLE DAY. any liquid foundation can be buffed into the skin with this fabulous brush. The brand is Real Techniques. Not available at shoppers. But London drugs, Walmart and few other small places carry it. $9. It's golden. I adore it. I have many sets of these brushes. - Maybelline concealer. Fresh, light, and fabulous. Not for spots, but under eyes. I have put lashes on clients for years, but only Recently started wearing them myself. My eyes seem so sensitive to the glue, and I tear up so bad each time I try. So I have switched out glues and I'm trying all different brands of lashes, cheap to not so cheap.
