Today, Palettera celebrates the official 10th birthday since the grand opening in 2010. Although under unusual circumstances, because we temporarily closed in an effort to #flattenthecurve of Covid-19, we would like to take a moment to thank everyone here for supporting us in every step of our journey. Being a creative agency centred around design and storytelling at the core, we have helped hundreds of clients to be the best versions of themselves, build their original bran...ds, launch their campaigns, present beautiful content, send unforgettable invitations and host fabulously beautiful events. This is been a true honour and privilege to grow together, to find solutions and to make magic that is lasting. In the midst of a decade of designing for you, we also began two new and exciting chapters in product design, The Ferris Wheel Press and in culture and media, Fête Chinoise. We have a lot more to do in our quest to light up the world with inspiration, hope, love, and thoughtful moments. This international pandemic has grounded us all to a halt. Although unprecedented, and a trying time especially for the more vulnerable parts of our population, this is also a time of great hope. As designers, we always have people and the world at the core of why we do what we do. Therefore, when we all meet again on the other side of this pandemic which we will overcome, we see it as an opportunity to re-imagine the world. How can we be better for each other? Does what we do collectively have meaning and purpose? Are we adding to the world to make it truly come alive? I bring us back to a quote that we shared in our company video that was shot by our colleague and friend Johnny Loh on our 5th anniversary... also something that I have held dear since 2008: "Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." H.
