We were lucky enough to get our new entrance shelter up yesterday. What a great help for curbside service! It saddens us to say goodbye to a friend who was such a presence over the 10 years Wendy and I have owned Palmerston Home Hardware. When Wendy and I purchased Palmerston Home Hardware 10 years ago, Verna arrived at the back door and said "How can I help?" And help us she did. She arrived every "Truck Day" over those 10 years and was our right hand receiver. What a pleasure it was for Wendy in particular to be able to share time with Verna as they worked at receiving our orders. She made it hardly seem like work. Verna lost her courageous fight to cancer this past Sunday. We will miss her very much. We send our love and prayers to Jim, Shelley, Sherry, Jamie and their families as they share in their loss of a wife, mother, grandmother and so much more. God Bless.
