Some people have shown concern as to the origin of our sesame stone mill. We would like to elaborate on its origins. The basalt stone mill has been an integral tool for tahini makers in the middle east, and around the world. Many tahini makers have several of these mills at their facility. However, lately tahini makers have begun upgrading their lines to large scale steel mills, as a result the old stone mills are sitting idle in back yards collecting dust. Ours is one of the...se mills. We bought it and completely refurbished it to make it operational once again. We hope this clarifies things. Parallel brings people together.
