This spring sure has been a patience tester but it’s good to have blue skies and sunshine to get the crop it. All we can do it just keep on, keepin on
A slow start is better then no start right? Planting fiiinally started a few days ago so let’s all try to be mindful of farm equipment big and small on the roads and keep the rain away
What the heck is this white stuff??
Snow? What snow!?!? Nothing but blue sky’s and sunshine today while turning a few acres of corn stalks over we couldn’t get finished last fall due to the ground freezing up. Is it safe to say spring is here to stay??
It’s that time of year again, custom clover spreading on winter wheat has begun! The first crop of the year to be planted! Lets roll!!
We haven’t been on here lately, but we’ve just been processing soybean seed, shipping corn, clearing snow, getting equipment ready to roll for planting aaaaaaand patiently waiting for spring to get here...aaaaany day now
Sun, snow, sun, snow, sun... That seems to be the theme of this year’s corn harvest but our crew is still battling on to get the crop off the field, through the dryer, and in the bin. Tough times don’t last... Tough people do
There our harvest crew was enjoying an afternoon coffee break when a stranger from Ohio stopped and asked if he could get some video footage of our crew doing their thing... Goes to show you never know who you might meet! Check out Mike Less’s footage and visit his YouTube channel https://youtu.be/NLhfiHsfNv8
With soybeans being officially done that means roughly just over 900,000 bushels of corn left to harvest before we can park the combines for the year...stay tuned!
When the sun goes down the lights come on and wheat planting rolls into the night working in acres not hours
