Volume, Intensity, Frequency. The three variable you can play with in your work out. People often play with volume and intensity, but forget frequency! If you're stuck in a rut try and changing up how often you hit a particular muscle group!

Quick tip today! The two exercises that will give you the most bang for your buck are the barbell squat and barbell deadlift! These also happen to be two of the most difficult exercises to do properly, so make sure to take the time to perfect your form before you start loading on a bunch of weight! Ignoring the mastery of the movement will lead to imbalances down the line, risk of injuries, and over the long run, less muscles and strength development. It also makes the movements much less functional. Taking the time to practice now will pay dividends in the future. Questions on how to properly preform these movements? Been lifting in the 8-12 rep range for eons? Try switching up to a lower rep range, somewhere between 1-5 reps with long periods of rest and much heavier weight, for a few weeks. Watch your body blast through plateaus. Our bodies are adaptation machines. The whole reason we notice changes in our body when we exercise is because they are attempting to adapt to the stimulus we give them. If you repeatedly give the same stimulus without changing it, your body will become comfor...table, and a plateau will emerge. Always keep your body guessing by switching through training modalities every month or so and the progress will never stop. It's also a great way to keep your workouts fun and exciting! Nutrition is one of the most complicated subjects known to man. You can spend months reading on the ketogenic diet, the paleo diet, veganism, or any other modality of diet. The fact of the matter is nutrition is as individual as it is complicated. The only way to know what works best for you is trial and error. Keeping a "food journal" where you not only track what you eat, but how you feel throughout the day and after meals can help you dial in and really figure out what wor...ks for you. Play with variables, rinse and repeat. Be your own personal scientist! Remember, what works for someone else might not work for you, and what works for you now may not work for you forever.
