Beauty after the storm

Confederation bridge in black and white. We stopped at the park in Cape Jourimain to grab this long exposure and ended up caught in a torrential downpour while shooting. I left my bag in the car so I made my way back with my camera under my shirt trying to protect it from the rain... that didn't work. I ended up having to change my soaked clothes when I got back to the car and dried off my body and camera with the only thing we had in the car, a blanket. Fun times

Earlier this summer we were driving along the highway in Colchester county in Nova Scotia when we saw this deer on the side of the road. We pulled over and snapped some photos as she walked next to our car. After we left we saw 16 more deer and a black bear in the span of an hour
