We need your help: Partners Family Services works hard to help those in need. This year, we want to bring more awareness to Human Trafficking in hopes to better serve and protect our immediate and surrounding communities. Human Trafficking is a topic that is often silenced which can be detrimental to those affected by it. Therefore, Partners Family Services is initiating an awareness campaign to unsilence Human Trafficking and provide better support for the victims, secondary... victims, and the communities. Our first initiative is a survey that will be available until March 10th, 2021. If you have a moment please fill out the survey. Walk in or Phone in Counselling is available today Wednesday, Feb 10/21 at our Humboldt location from 9am - 3pm. If you are attending our office for Walk in Counselling, please remember to wear your mask, if you do not have one, one will be provided for you. If you are not comfortable coming in for an appointment, you also have the option of Phone In counselling. We will set you up with a call back time when the counsellor has availability that same day

Wynyard Walk in Counselling Protocols: When you arrive to attend Walk in Counselling in Wynyard, you will need to phone the clinic number 306-554-3363 and ask if a counsellor is available at that time. If availab...le, the counsellor will meet you at the front door and you will be asked screening questions upon entry, temperature will be taken and hands sanitized. Masks are required upon entry. Intake forms will be filled out at the beginning of the session with the counsellor. If a counsellor is not available when you arrive, advise the office staff over the phone if you will be waiting in your vehicle or coming back at a later time. If you choose to wait in your vehicle, please leave a phone number for the counsellor to contact you when they become available. If you choose to come back at a later time, be mindful that the counsellor may be unavailable at that time as well See more

Today's Post is about some of the services in Humboldt that may not be widely known about and may be needed during this pandemic. First, Partners Family Serv...ices. PARTNERS Family Services offers comprehensive supports and services to individuals, families and communities with the goal of supporting overall well being. Services include individual and group therapeutic counselling, parenting programs, crisis supports, and domestic violence prevention and intervention. These are provided FREE of cost to the user! They can be reached at 682-4135 and are located at 231 Main Street. Humboldt Food Bank. Located at 901 5 Ave in Humboldt, They provide food hampers for those in need or in emergency situations. They are open from 2-4 on Tuesdays, and can be reached at (306) 231-9970 in a crisis situation. Humboldt Community Inclusion. Located at 517 Main Street. Provides client-tailored support services for individuals, families, caregivers that require various supports to have needs met. Services include: Support in accessing community resources Information and Advocacy Planning to help you achieve your goals Collaboration with school teams Youth and adult transition planning Brief counselling Assistance navigating government systems Help in accessing funding to meet unmet needs Support in obtaining caregivers Training opportunities for caregivers, families, and the community Monthly social programs Summer Recreation and Respite Program. Humboldt Soup Kitchen help support those in our community who suffer from financial and food insecurity. We are now feeding 112 people every Tuesday (supper) & Thursday (lunch), which we deliver to each family’s doorstep. Can be reached at (306) 360- 7888 These supports are here to help EVERYONE, and there is NO SHAME in using them if you need.
