Great news - thanks to the hardwork of our team, the Upper mountain will be open tomorrow, December 29. RUNS OPEN: Angel, Spina, Easy Street and Daredevil. Chinook and X-Presso are NOT open. Be aware - there might be a slight delay opening the Upper mountain tomorrow morning as we put the finishing touches on.

Merry Christmas! We're Closed Dec 24/25, but friendly neighbourhood skiing resumes Boxing Day (12pm-4pm).

With some fresh snow overnight, it's going to be another fun day on the hill. Our lift issues from yesterday have been sorted. Dress warm.

A note from PPK: Hours of Operation: We are CLOSED December 24 and 25. We open again December 26 from 12pm-4pm. Tickets and rentals are available for pre-purchase online on our website. ... Uphill Track: The Half Keg Lower Track is now set on the Luge Track. If you are touring on Pass Powderkeg, we ask that you keep to between 10am and 8pm until we are finished with snowmaking. We will re-evaluate hours once we are done! Snowmaking: We are currently making snow on the Upper Mountain. The Upper Mountain is off limits to traffic as we have machinery, electrical and snowguns going. Thank you all for your support this Christmas season. We will see you on December 26!

And it’s official - the Lower Lift Extension is complete! We are excited to open up for you tomorrow to enjoy this major improvement in skiing and riding. Just a reminder - operations have changed. Please check our website for more information. Food and beverage will be available for take out only. Tables will be available outside. One household per table only.

We are excited to finally announce the opening of the Lower Mountain this Saturday! Operating hours this weekend will be 10m-4pm for both Saturday and Sunday. The Face will be open, and we recommend intermediate/advanced skiers and riders on the Lower mountain only. We know the announcements made this week have an impact on what Pass Powderkeg will look like for the upcoming 4 weeks. While we don’t have all the answers yet, we know that we will be able to ski and ride this... weekend. Season Passes are available for purchase online. Photos can also be uploaded after purchase or emailed in to get pre-printed. We are encouraging everyone to purchase online and either upload photos or send them to [email protected]. Waivers must be signed in person. We are offering Office Hours from 1pm-6pm Thursday and Friday in order to get as many passes printed as possible. Lift tickets are also available for pre-purchase online at our website. We encourage everyone to make use of this as much as possible. Please keep an eye out for changes as they become more clear. The warm weather is unfortunately forcing us to delay opening the Lower Mountain another week. However, we will be hosting a Handletow Rail Jam both Saturday and a Sunday afternoon. Join us for rails, music, and BBQ this upcoming weekend. The Rail Jam will run from 1-5pm both Saturday and Sunday. Lift tickets will be available for $5/day, with limited capacity.
