Did you know: Thunderbirds Athletics has another student moving on to the next level! Multi-sport athlete (soccer/hockey/football/badminton) Evan Smith, signs his Letter of Commitment to the University of Windsor Lancer football. Pictured with Evan is Lancer Head Coach, John Circelli. Additionally, pictured w/ PJC coaches Joe Tice (seated), Ken Chisholm and Bisons" Jim Jeavons (PJC grad!). Evan can play quarterback, wide receiver, defensive back & punter/placekicker. Good luck, Evan!
Pauline Johnson Phys. Ed. can finally announce another major addition to our facilities! New bleachers are finally here! What a fantastic gymnasium we have!
Thanks to the Healthy Schools initiative under the leadership of Mr. Michaelides, PJC just received a massive grant that was used to purchase 28 new mountain bikes that can be used by any group in the school to further their fitness goals. Local trails abound around PJ and today saw Grades 12 & 9 classes take to the rail trail towards Cainsville. Great exercise. Great fun!
Did you know; Pauline Johnson's Healthy Schools team, led by Mr. MacDonald and Mr. Michaelides has just earned GOLD status! This provincial initiative sees many different in-school programs and activities that contribute and enhance both mental and physical health provided to the entire school. We are THE ONLY GRAND ERIE SCHOOL AT THE SECONDARY LEVEL TO ACHIEVE THIS DISTINCTION!!
Did you know: Pauline Johnson's brand new gymnasium bleachers are on their way! After fundraising and massive Board support, new maroon bleachers will be installed (on both sides of the gym - only school in the region to have that unique lay-out!) over the summer in time for the 2018-19 school year! Fantastic news for the ever-evolving and beautiful Phys. Ed. Facilities at PJC!

Did you know: Pauline Johnson's gymnasium has a new, awesome floor! After many years of 'pushing', with great contributions from many (Dee Chisholm, Shannon McMannis, Chris Mackey, Kevin & Lori MacNeil, Brian Wilson, PJC Women's basketball [Ms. Sitak/Mr. Stamer] Glen & Greg Halsey and Mr. Stead), we are almost done on the final Phys.Ed./ athletics reno/re-brand.
