While Canadian and provincial public health authorities continue to assess the risks associated with the COVID-19 Pandemic as low for the general population at this time, they are focused on delaying its spread in order to protect the health and well-being of those in our communities. Pearce Schneiderat has been working tirelessly across all our offices to maintain our service levels during this period and to meet our clients needs. In response to Canadian and provincial pu...blic health authorities efforts and to prioritize the health and well-being of our staff and clients, we are taking all the necessary measures to mitigate the risks of COVID-19 within our own organization, as well as striving to balance the level of disruption to our clients matters. Our Penticton, Summerland, and Osoyoos offices are open and operational at this time; however, we are encouraging all of our staff and clients to reduce the number of in-person meetings through alternatives such as email, phone, or postponing appointments to a later date. Essential or required in-person appointments will still be scheduled, and we will contact our clients as necessary. Our lawyers and staff will continue to be available by telephone or email. Also, effective March 20, 2020, we are treating the commute to the Princeton office as non-essential travel and have instructed our employees to work from the Penticton office. We are continuing to assist our Princeton clients through telephone appointments as may be required until further notice. We want to assure you that the necessary procedures are in place, and we are doing all that we can to continue to serve our clients and protect the health of our staff, our clients, and their families.
