Don’t be tricked by the deals, here are a few tips to protect yourself against scams: 1- Double check the sender to ensure it is the retailer you are expecting before clicking on any links. It is easy for scammers to replicate another retailer’s email.... 2- Don’t open any attachments. Remember, retailers want to make it easy for you to make a purchase and wouldn’t hide it in an attachment. 3 - Use a credit card, not a debit card. Major credit card companies often have a zero liability policy so you don’t have to pay for fraud. 4- Shop using a secure network.
