This is a closeup of our new extruded feed. We can now put our own soybeans through a press to extrude the oil and heat to destroy the anti nutritional components. We then mix with ground corn, minerals and vitamins and put through our new extruder to produce a complete ration for veal and supplement for our beef. The extruder heats the feed to cook the starch component and compress it into a complete ration/supplement using ingredients that we grow ourselves. The result is better energy availability for our growing cattle.
