Friday, February 26th at 7pm we are doing the first 2021 Moonlight Ski!! You are invited to come and enjoy the Pembina Nordic Ski Trails in the moonlight. We will have one of our many fire pits roaring. You and your family can enjoy the ski & exchange greetings at a distance with fellow ski club members! We will not be doing our usual sharing of food, but bring yourself some snacks and a hot drink if you like. Children must be accompanied by an adult.... This is an awesome time to spend with the family. Kids get to enjoy a new experience of skiing under the full moon. Headlamps are recommended, but not necessary. He had considered grooming this morning but it is warming up so quickly now that he had to abandon the idea.... It’s been a great ski season! Thanks to all of our members and visitors for your support this winter! A HUGE THANK YOU TO ANDY FOR HIS COUNTLESS HOURS OF GROOMING THIS YEAR!!! Happy Spring!

One of our lovely members has been sewing masks (non-medical) for those who need them. She has extended the offer to our PNSC community. The masks would be free to those in need, or if you would like to make a small donation to the club in return, that would be appreciated as well. Provincial Parks are currently restricted to foot traffic only. Please check with www.albertaparks.ca for up to date information on trail access during the Covid Crisis.

Only the Ridge Trail has been groomed for Skate Skiing so far due to a mechanical breakdown. If you choose to go out skiing, please follow these guidelines: 1. Ensure social distancing in parking area and on trails by keeping at least 2m of separation 2. Do not go out if you are at all sick, showing any symptoms, or have any risk of being in contact with someone who might have COVID19 3. Use hand sanitizer before and after opening or locking up the main gate, or using the outhouse or rustic chalet Thanks so much to our WONDERFUL GROOMING VOLUNTEER ANDY!!! Happy Trails!
