Due to COVID-19 : What You Need To Know Before Your Next Visit to Peninsula Family Chiropractic Our Patients, Staff and Families safety is of upmost importance to us, we have followed guidelines given by Health Canada, Work Safe BC and the College Chiropractors of BC. Here are the changes you can expect during your next visit to the clinic. SOCIAL DISTANCING:... -Front Door will be propped open. -Please wait Outside on the markings, until invited in by Staff -Once inside please stand on markings, as directed by Staff. -Only patients recieving treatment will be asked to enter the office -We are seeing less patients through out the day to allow for social distancing and appropiate cleaning between appointments. MASKS: -Where social distancing can not be observed all Staff will be wearing a mask. -Patients we ask you to please bring a mask from home during your visit. -If you do not have a mask, cloth masks will be available for sale at cost at reception. BATHROOM: We are asking patients to not use the Bathroom in the office at this time. CLEANING: -PFC has purchased an Electrostatic Cleaning System, that wraps 360 degrees around a surface. The electrostatic solution kills over 40 different viruses, bacteria and molds (i.e. COVID-19, H1N1, HIV, Influenza A&B) in under 5 minutes. -TREATMENT ROOMS WILL BE CLEANED WITH THE ELECTROSTATIC CLEANSER AFTER EACH PATIENT. -Approved by Health Canada -Food safe -Hypoallergenic -100% biodegradable PLEASE COMPLETE PFC’s SELF ASSESSMENT CHECKLIST PRIOR TO VISIT. You have NOT been in contact with anyone in your household or at your workplace with COVID-19 symptoms, or any person who has had a positive diagnosis of COVID -19. You have NOT travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days. You ARE seeking care for pain relief and/or to mitigate a decrease in function that is impacting your activities of daily living and deem this an acute or essential need. It is with profound sadness, that we share with you, our dear friend and colleague Jo Ann Lederhaus passed away last Sunday. Jo Ann wanted us to share with all of you a Celebration of her Life will be held this Friday June 21st at First Memorial in Broadmead at 10 am. She loved this community as much as we loved her. Jo Ann, we miss you beyond what words can express. You will always be in our hearts.
