Creating a bottom....turning your thumb for an edge and then pulling the clay up created a base. Finishing the rim with a place for your lip. Mark also showed us his technique for making a twisted fishing line for cutting pieces off the batt.

The Mad Hatters Tea Party! What a fun night with great company excellent food and great decor to show off our pottery. Many thanks to Bobi and Laura for their assistance in planning the event; Lori for her helping in getting the word out and Tucker, Fraser and Gail for their assistance in setting up.
