From Autism BC: Greetings from AutismBC, Two things to consider signing up for in a few weeks.... Behaviour Support Basics for Parents (Live Online) Join us online for a three-hour introductory workshop for parents who want to learn how to teach their children, who are early learners, language and play skills. This workshop was developed because we had so many parents sign up for our Behaviour Interventionist workshops and tell us that it was too much information for parents. Julee has worked to simplify the workshop content to introduce introductory everyday teachings that could be helpful for you and your loved ones. Is Covid-19 affecting your child's in-service therapy sessions? Are your sessions moving on-line via skype etc? We have been receiving requests to carry equipment and materials that will facilitate on-line therapy.... Such expenses may require you to use some of your annual allocation from the Funding Unit. A surprise expense. Don't forget we're here to help. Let us do the waiting for the Funding Unit to pay. Let us know if there's anything we can do at this time of changing realities

ADAPTING TO COVID-19 A NOTICE TO THE PERFECT DAY COMMUNITY As with many of you, our family is looking at the spread of this virus with increasing concern. It seems that every day our lives are changing, and we are compelled to adapt to these new realities of life on our beautiful Island.... We understand that when you order from us, your purchase is not discretionary. The products that you are purchasing from Perfect Day have a therapeutic function for someone in your family. With all this in mind, we want to reassure you that we will be carrying on with the great service you have come to expect from us. Your health (and health security) and your piece of mind guides us in everything we do. The changes we are implementing effective March 18 in fact ramp up the communication between us: As in the past, when we are ready to deliver your order, we will be continuing to contact you to find a good time to drop off your goods. But to respect the need for social distancing, we will be dropping off only and eliminating hand to hand contact until further notice. Rest assured, we will still ask you for a good time to deliver. Our stock levels are pretty good. To date only one of our 25 + distributors have stopped all deliveries as a result of the virus until further notice. Will there be more? We can’t say at this time. If we run out of stock and cannot get more until the situation changes, we will promptly inform you. You will have options: you can wait, we could offer you a replacement piece of equipment. And of course, a refund will always be possible, every single time. We wish to offer our sincere and heart-felt thanks for your support over the years. We will continue to do everything we can to get the tools your child/children require to you quickly and efficiently. That’s always been our promise to you. It continues to be.
