I am officially taking a bit of a break for Christmas PAW-LIDAYS! I will try to answer messages over the next week but please expect delays. ALL messages will be answered on or before Dec 29th. Thank-you to all of my amazing clients! The cards and gifts are so unexpected and appreciated but most of all, the support that you all show me is INCREDIBLE and the best gift I can ask for. UPDATED CANCELLATION POLICY My clients and their time are very important to me and I work hard to get to them on time and keep their reserved spots. Unfortunately I've been put into a position where I need to update my cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your REGULAR appointment please give me 24 hours notice. Appointments booked with more than one dog for a FULL GROOM will require 48 hours notice. ... When you cancel the night before or same day other clients miss the opportunity to take your spot. This time is reserved for your pet and leaves a hole in my schedule (which often means I'm sitting in my car waiting for the next appointment time). Appointments cancelled outside of this policy will be subject to a $10-20 cancellation fee (dependant on services being provided). This can be added to your next appointment or can be paid via EMT. If I show up at your house and you ARE NOT THERE (yes this actually happens) you will be charged the full amount for the appointment. This must be paid prior to you scheduling another appointment. Please feel free to message me with any questions or concerns you may have! I hope this new policy will allow me to fit in more clients from my cancellation list and shorten wait times.

Pick up some cute pet decorations! Proceeds go to help pets in need of medical attention that their families are unable to pay for. Dr McConnell at Murdoch Vet Clinic graciously donates hours of her time every year to sculpt and paint these by hand.

Snarling, nipping, biting Shaking, cowering, hiding Urinating, defecating This does not have to be the end of nail trimming for your pet. I debated posting this here but so many of you ask me about my pets and enjoy seeing their photos. I'm sorry if I'm not myself during our appointments this week - I am having a rough go. My heart is aching. We had an unexpected goodbye on Sunday. Our feisty, not afraid of anything, snuggly, will do anything for chicken snooze monster lost his last battle far too young. This little guy has been with me through so many tough times, 8 moves, and countless roadtrips. He love...d everyone and everyone loved him. It's going to be tough getting used to not having his cuddles every evening, waking up to his obnoxious meow and chasing him around in the rain because he escaped again. Run free Lulay, I miss you so much already

Starting in 2021 I will no longer be offering FULL GROOMING services. This includes full haircuts, baths, brush outs. I am embarking on a new adventure (details to come soon) and will not be able to sustain everything. I will still be doing appointments for: toenail trims, anal gland expression, ear cleaning, injections, cat shaves and basic grooming such as feet hair trims.... Within the next few months I will likely have to stop accepting new clients for awhile. If you want to get on my client list make sure you book prior to 2021. Clients who have me come every 2-8 weeks for an appointment. These clients will be booked automatically for their preferred days/times BEFORE the schedule opens up to everyone else. The snow is here! As we get more snow, and it gets colder, it will be harder for me to do appointments outside. I can continue to do appointments outside if you have a covered carport, covered deck or a garage until it gets cold. When temps dip below -10 degrees appointments will have to be done inside or in an enclosed garage. When your dog's toenails are cold from the snow it actually makes the dog more reactive to the trimming.... I'm wearing a mask to all appointments and I sanitize between appointments. I ask that clients also wear a mask. Please PM me if you have an appointment coming up and have concerns about me coming inside your home.
